Lions battled Midway at a frosty Oversettes road this morning...it was touch and go for the pitch to thaw in time, bit thaw it did.
Most of the first half Lions dominated the pitch....defenders playing a huge roll in keeping the ball in Midways half.....weve been struggling since Christmas, but today Lions seemed to have got it together and played out of their skins, with some lovely passes. First to score was Jamie...sadly I missed it due to Joshua going down seconds before.....second goal came from Connor and the third goal in the first half from Andy Delaney with a penalty.
Score at half time 3-0 to Lions.
Second half a few changes were made, heads dropped and Midway scored......it was the push Lions needed to see them go 4 up with a goal from Daniel.......Joshua followed with another goal.....and a good cross from Samuel Ferriday from near half way saw Daniel score a cracker into the top right hand corner.
Score finished 6-1

M.O.M couldn't be decided, so was awarded to them all.
Well done boys!! a few more games to go, lets see if we can net those too!!
